Boca Raton police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who brandished a weapon during the robbery of a Walgreen store Tuesday night.
According to police spokesman Dylan Huberman, police were called around 11 p.m. to the Walgreens on the 1000 block of SW 2nd Avenue, off Camino Real and Camino Gardens Boulevard, in reference to an armed robbery. Police said Wednesday that an unknown male suspect entered the store and approached a cashier – brandishing a black semi-automatic firearm – and demanded money.
He was then observed leaving the store with the register tray, Huberman said.
The suspect is described as a black male with average build and approximately 5’5 to 5’-6 in height, in his mid-to-late 20s. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans, and black shoes, along with a black mask and gloves. Anyone with information in reference to the investigation is being asked to contact Detective Terrence Payne at 561-620-6221.
