Travis Kelce, Football Star and Taylor Swift Beau, Moves to Boca Raton for Offseason

Months removed from a defeat in Super Bowl LIX, star Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has moved to a canal-front home in Boca Raton while he trains for the upcoming football season. News of Kelce’s new digs in East Boca have also led to speculation as to whether his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, might be joining him in South Florida at some point.

Kelce has reportedly leased a home in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club development, a gated community on the western bank of the intracoastal waterway in the southermost portion of Boca Raton. The home on E. Alexander Palm Road, just a few parcels in from the ICW, features a gargantuan swimming pool and a dock that runs the length of the property. There is also an on-site waterfall and outdoor shower for recovery from those lazy, hazy summer beach days.

The home, according to Palm Beach County tax records, last sold for $15 million in 2023 after having been listed for sale at $21,750,000. According to real estate listings, the 8,300 square foot home features six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, two half-baths and has an unobstructed view of nearby Capone Island, a wildlife preserve that often attracts kayakers to its sandy shores.

The lap of luxury also includes a covered loggia, summer kitchen with phantom screens, Crestron smart home technology with custom LED lighting, two primary ensuites with custom closets, a large wrap-around glass balcony, a club room with billiards and tempered wine storage, a whole-house natural gas generator and a 4.5 car garage.

The owner of the property paid $246,665 in property taxes last year, with the assessed valuation pegged at $14.4 million.

News of Kelce’s presence in town first came to light after the 35-year-old Ohio native referenced working with local youth on their football skills. Ever since, it’s become a worst-kept-secret that he has been conducting his off-season training at Johnny O’s Gymnasium on NW Boca Raton Boulevard with Tony Villani of XPE Sport and Andrew Spruill, as reported by the New York Post.

Real estate experts quoted by the Post said the property likely leases for about $100,000 per month.
